Dear Parents, I prepared a list of art and craft activities that the students can do by themselves or with a little help, require simple materials that you probably have at home and that will help with all the anxiety, uncertainty and confusion that we fill all around us (and thus recommended for parents as well!) .
March 23 | Cardboard Elephant
Here is a video I made, with instruction on how to make an elephant. You can apply these to a lot of different animals:
Before you watch the video, make sure you have: 1. Cardboard pieces (cut from an Amazon box or a different box. Shoe box will work as well) 2. Pencil and scissors 3. Colors
March 16 | Cardboard Patchwork Houses
Materials: 1.Cardboard pieces (from all the Amazon and food deliveries that we all have these days…) 2. Markers or crayons 3. Small squares and rectangles of fabric scraps. 4. Buttons (optional) 5. White glue or glue stick
Instructions: Adult job: cut a shape of a house with a roof from the cardboard. Let your kids draw some windows and doors. Let them glue on the fabric scraps and buttons.
